Our Calgary clients for this new build desired a traditional craftsman-style home. We achieved this with wood details, built-ins, wood paneling and unique lighting. Oil rubbed bronze finishes were incorporated in the stair railings, door hardware, lighting and plumbing fixtures. A unique powder room included a bronze vessel sink from Stone Forest and a tall single handle faucet. The chef-inspired kitchen features a Subzero fridge, butler’s pantry and extensive preparation space. Copper accents are featured in the tiled backsplash and repeated in the stove hood and the adjoining living room’s fireplace hood, both custom made in Calgary. This home boasts superior attention to detail including the distinct stair posts and curved master bedroom ceiling. The most significant feature is the enormous en-suite shower. Travertine cascades down the walls with glass accents and pebbles underfoot. The same travertine fills the floor and leads to the unique slipper tub showcased in the bathroom’s window area.
